I have learned so much through this 60 day journey. I had been “trying” to lose weight on my own for a couple of years. I just either didn’t have the motivation or drive to do it on my own. I tried every diet available. I realized that once I was given this great opportunity I couldn’t squander it. I have taken full advantage of this blessing. I went from being completely sedentary to working out HARD 5 days a week with a trainer. The other 2 days of the week I made sure I did some kind of activity whether it be yard work, house cleaning, walking, etc. During the weight loss process I realized I could do it. I recorded everything I ate into My Fitness Pal and never missed a day. The excessive amount of exercise made me sleep much better every night and lowered my stress level considerably. I am a more active and healthy me. I feel that this contest has given me the jump start I needed for my new lifestyle. I no longer want to be the sedentary person I was before. I want to continue on this journey and continue to lose weight until my goal is reached. I’m getting closer every day to my goal. Thank you to Genghis Grill and Gorilla Fitness for allowing me to have this awesome opportunity. What a ride it has been!
